DAY 01: ARRIVE SRINAGAR

On arrival Srinagar meet for assistance and transfer to hotel, check in to hotel. P.M. proceed to visit of world-famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), Shankarachariya Shiv Temple, Pari Mahal (Fairies adobe) and Ancient City tour of Srinagar. Enjoy ride on a Shikara for about one hour to the watery vegetable markets and see the mountains mirrored in the lakes. Enjoy this experience and return to the hotel / houseboat for night stay.

Day 02: SRINAGAR – YUSMARG – SRINAGAR

Set off on an excursion to Yusmarg after breakfast. Yusmarg, or the Meadow of Jesus, is an apline valley in Badgam district, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and pine and fir meadows. The natural splendor of this valley enchants visitors. This area is also renowned for horseback riding, fishing, and winter skiing. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay after spending some quality time.

Day 03: SRINAGAR – GUREZ VALLEY

After breakfast leave for Gurez valley (open from June to October) a great destination in the north of Kashmir and is gateway to famous silk route across central Asia. It is famous for its picturesque valley, forests, and pastures. Perched at about 8000 feet, it is around 120 kms from Srinagar. Valley is surrounded by majestic Himalayas and Kishanganga River, which merges with Jhelum in Pakistan. Arrive and check into hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: GUREZ –TULAI VALLEY – GUREZ

After breakfast, you will visit the local town of Dawar to learn about the local people’s traditions. We will also visit Habba khatoon peak, a pyramid-shaped mountain, and Habba khatoon spring today. We will also visit Tulai valley (41 kms from Dawar), we stop at Sheikhpura and Chakwali. Tulai is last village in India. Return Gurez by late afternoon and relax. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: GUREZ – SRINAGAR

Breakfast at hotel. Later drive to Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar by afternoon and check into hotel.

DAY 06 SRINAGAR TO GULMARG (APPROX 50km / 01 HRS 30 MIN DRIVE)

After breakfast, proceed for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg was discovered by the British in the 19th century. Prior to that, Mughal emperors vacationed in the Gulmarg valley which is about 03 Kms long and up-to 01 km wide. It is exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the PirPanjal range at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level. It also has one of the world’s highest green golf courses with 18 holes, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building. It is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course during summer season and as a ski resort during the winter season, on arrival proceed for a picturesque ride of world-famous Gondola chair car (pay directly ticket charges) later visit famous Shiv mandir in Gulmarg. Later return to Srinagar Hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 07: srinagar TO PAHALGAM (APPROX 100 km / 02 to 03 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, en-route visit Saffron fields of Pampore, see the beautiful countryside, lots of rice fields and Awantipora ruins on the way, later continue your drive to Pahalgam through the pine forest, the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder & Sheshnag Lake which are famous for their scenic beauty. On arrival, proceed for horse ride (optional on direct payment) and enjoy the most beautiful scenic view of Himalayan Mountains. About 11 km from Pahalgam, the Aru Valley offers eclectic view and calm environs to tourists. Next, take a tour of the Betaab Valley, set amidst pine trees. It has been a favorite shooting location for many Bollywood directors. Being at a walking distance from Pahalgam, this valley is the base camp for various adventure activities, such as mountaineering. Being almost on the edge of the tree line, you will see trees giving way to alpine grasslands here. Take a pony ride to one of the many beautiful spots around Pahalgam. (In PAHALGAM, Pony Rides and Jeeps to be hired for Chandanwari or Aru Valley must be paid directly), Later you will be transferred back to Srinagar Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 08: SRINAGAR LOLAB VALLEY SRINAGAR

Take a day trip to Lolab valley, also known as ‘Wadi-e-Lolab,’ is famous for its fruit orchards, lake, springs, and luscious rice fields. Lolab Valley is 26 kilometres long and 5 kilometres wide. It is 120 kilometres from Srinagar in the kupwara district. Potnai Valley, Brunai Valley, and Kalaroos Valley come together to form Lolab. Lolab and Bandipora districts are separated by the magnificent Nagmarg meadows. Visit the resting place of a well-known saint, Kashyap reshi, which lies 1 km from the village of Lalpur. Nearby, there is a spring known as Lavnag. The spring has a depth of three feet and crystal pure water. Another important spring in the vicinity is Gauri.

DAY 09: srinagar airport departure

After breakfast check out from Houseboat and you will be transferred to Srinagar airport on time to board flight.
